Recipe for Homemade Pickles

This recipe was found in an old family recipe box. We made it many times last summer with our abundance of cucumbers.

1 quart white vinegar
1/2 cup course salt
1 cup of sugar

Bring to a rolling boil.

Wash and split cucumbers into quarters, halves, or slices.

Pack cucumbers into jars and pour hot vinegar over them. Seal.
